Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword in logistics. For Courier Express, it’s a commitment we’ve built into every part of our business. From the fuel in our vehicles to the way we manage warehouses, we’re investing in practical steps that make a measurable difference.

Carbon offsetting diesel purchases

Since 2021, we’ve offset every litre of diesel used in our fleet. This ensures we account for the impact of our operations while investing in projects that support a lower-carbon future.

Switching to HVO fuel

In 2024 we installed onsite HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) storage and pumps. This allows us to run vehicles on cleaner fuel that cuts lifecycle emissions by up to 90% compared to diesel. By 2028, our goal is to complete the transition of more than 90% of our fleet miles to HVO.

A modern, efficient fleet

Our vehicles are Euro VI compliant, helping reduce harmful emissions. Regular fleet upgrades mean our drivers benefit from more efficient, safer trucks while customers benefit from greener deliveries.

Sustainable pricing policies

We introduced a weekly fuel surcharge linked directly to Shell’s market price. While most competitors adjust monthly, our approach ensures fairness and transparency – and automatically passes on cost savings when fuel prices drop.

Warehousing and waste

Our 45,000 sq ft of warehousing is managed with efficiency in mind, from temperature-controlled logistics to customer recycling services that achieve zero landfill for waste.
